Elevated horror clicks with me. Whether it's perfecting the makeup, guiding an actor’s performance, or editing a scene, I'm all about these details. The range of emotion that elevated horror provides always excites me and the place it sits in the industry as a whole makes the genre the safest bet as an investor.
My Path in Film: My time at The Art Institute of Seattle solidified the foundation of my lifelong passion and my work in filmmaking started over a decade ago in New Orleans, Louisiana. Currently, I'm working out of Los Angeles.
I cut my teeth in the Louisiana film scene as an Art Director and production Designer, moving to Special FX, and Music Contributor before I found my place as a writer/producer and finally realized myself as a director. That's where my heart lies. Bringing together every element of a film, from the script to the final cut, is where I truly thrive. I’m focused on my fiscal responsibilities as a director while also focusing on the art. My films need to strike that balance. I want to bring films to life with a conscious understanding of the bottom line, visuals that linger in your mind, and narratives that resonate long after the picture ends.
Sketch to Screen
In the early stages, I sketch ideas that will become final compositions. In this stage, I am considering lens lengths, camera distance, light direction, set dressing, SFX, etc.

Feature Films
I’ve self-financed three feature films, two of which have distribution deals, and the third is in post-production. Ghost Light, our second film, won Best Drama at IFS.
